Crested Butte is an old cowboy town.... Slogars was good ol' Texas style southern food. Mmmmm good, but OY, they belly!!!!

These are amazing mountains are called the Palisades. Huge granite vertical stacks like you have never seen before. Gorgeous.
A look from 10,677 ft down to the base around 8,600. Jeff had to climb from the base to the peak and then fly back down.
There are amazing turnouts in the races out here. Very different than back east.

GO JEFF GO! 3rd Place in his 40+ class.... The rest of the riders were not present since it took almost 4 hours to post the results. Results usually are posted 1 hour after a race; they had serious technical problems obviously.
